Nationalistic feelings aside, which Rolling block would you buy if you went shopping tomorrow?

I'd choose a Swede: They're affordable, good quality and good shooters. I don't have experience with the Danish calibres.

Danish are a good choice as the bores are usually very good and the cases are cheap because you can just shorten 45/70 a little. Also some people think the smaller diameter bullet is slightly more accurate.

Well in the end I chose neither of the above. I chose instead an untouched RB from the first Spanish Remington contract of 1870.

Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian?

I have a Danish made R.B. that shoots very well. I use 11.7x54mm cases and neck size them only. My rifle, with an excellent bore, shoots best with a short, light bullet, about 320 to 350 grain weight. Accuracy with a longer bullet is very poor since the twist of the rifling determines the maximum bullet length. It shoots well enough that I hope to be permitted to use it in black powder competition this season.

Hi Jon
I'm preparing a Danish RB for competition shooting.
Can you tell me the twist of your RB?
Do you use round-nose bullets?
Where did you find your moulds?
